When feeling insecure : Connect with your inner child.

"I saw that person and felt insecure." I did not want to feel that way, but I felt it.

There is a way out. Instead of keeping your attention on the person who is making you feel that way, use insecurity to access your inner child and bring a sense of security for yourself.

Process --
1. Find a trigger - Like think of a professional rival.
      a.  Connect with your inner child.
      b.  Wait silently with your inner child.
      c.  How is she feeling?
      b.  Reassure her using affirmative statements like the ones below

      Examples:
      1. I am here for you.
      2. I will take care of you.
      3. You are very important to me.

      More examples:
      1. I have faith in you
      2. You can handle this
      3. You can totally take this girl on
      4. We have a plan in place
      5. Just take one step at a time.

2. When the child is ready, you may leave her side.

3. Integrate this child inside yourself. When the child has calmed down, imagine her merging back into your heart.

Respect your opponents. Instead of thinking about thoughts that might hurt them, think about ways to improve yourself. And you will see that those who remind you of your weakness have been the catalysts for your greatest transformation.
