Researchers who work on couple relationships

When considering building a couple relationship inside-out, the first step is to spend time on it daily. Begin with developing good knowledge and a point of view.

Why a couple relationship in the first place?

Once you have your own why, these are some good sources of knowledge:

1. John and Julie Gottman : https://www.gottman.com/blog/the-four-horsemen-recognizing-criticism-contempt-defensiveness-and-stonewalling/

2. Ester Perel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4eN7PS9mi8__4EYxy6VpFw

3. Robert Sternberg: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangular_theory_of_love

Keep in mind that all of these people were born 50-70 years ago in a per-internet, maybe even pre-television era and probably in a different part of the world than you.

So take what feels relevant, and let go of what does not. Form your own point of view.

The crux is that building a couple relationship is a lot of work. Put in effort to enjoy results :). As one of my mentors shared with me, building a couple relationship is like building a universe. It takes a lot of work :).

To karo ... ho gaya article khatam :).
