'Celebration' is our connection to life:
Joy makes the journey sustainable. That is what prepares the horse for the long run. It becomes the fuel for future accomplishments.
- Celebrate now. Avoid deferring the reward, because the association is lost then.
- The reward should be appropriate for the goal - A chocolate reward is not good for people trying to lose weight. They can reward themselves with time.
- Find a reward that is suitable for you. - some people like compliments, some people do not like compliments. Anything you like is suitable for you.
- For small tasks, it is best if the reward is free or inexpensive. People having a busy family or work lives find that a 10-minute break to watch tv or read a book really lifts up their day.
- A celebration should be out of the ordinary. If you watch 10 videos a day, then watching another one is not a celebration. If you shop for clothes daily, then this is not a celebration for you.
